Anjor Foundation presents "Anjor Patra"

Anjor Foundation introduces Anjor Patra a free food distribution drive for those people for whom hunger is a major concern for a day. For we feel hunger doesn't understand class / greed / colour / religions / caste but only understands "Hunger". Anjor Patra stands for those friends whom food counts an important aspect to satisfy their emptiness. We feel as an organization which is spiritually inclined that we are not so equipped to donate food but we support those friends of us who needs a feed to satisfy his hunger. With God grace we distribute fresh and self prepared vegetarian food. We believe the almighty arranges the feeds we are just the distributors so we feel we cant donate food we just distribute.

WHY WE DISTRIBUTE FREE FOOD AT THE SAME VENUE ?
We feel hunger is that an integral part of  living beings life which each and every living beings needs to satisfy its emptiness. Hunger doesn't strikes seeing any class/ greed / colour / caste or religion. Anjor Patra stands for those people who wants to satisfy his emptiness and currently due to limited man power and resources we can only afford at the specified venue. 

WHAT ANJOR PATRA MEANS AND WHAT STANDS ITS UNIQUENESS ?
Anjor this word or name means enlightenment and Patra stands for a plate which carries food. Anjor Patra stands for "enlightenment'' a divine meaning. A food which is divine. Our Anjor Patra stands for food which doesn't understand any differences by any means. Our drives only understands humanity. A food distribution drive which is not distributed under any particular religion / caste or a class and even by any colour. Our drive plus our venue does not showcases any religion or class. It's a common people organization. 

How much food you distribute and what is the frequency ?
We almost distribute around to 500 people or 500 plus food packets of fresh vegetarian food and self prepared. Currently having restrictions of financial aid we only distribute one time meal on every Saturday in evening. In the coming future we planned to grow the quantity or the counts of the same. Depending upon the response from both the sides. The public who donates and motivates us and our friends whom we make the feed for.

What is the timing of the food distribution and the day along with the venue ?
Every Saturday at 6:30 pm we with our team distributes in Pune city PCMC area New Sangvi Sai Chowk. (Maharashtra State of India). 

What is the Menu of the Free Food Distribution Drive ?
We prepare potato semi thick gravy (semi spicy) and appointed a (Chapati / Roti- one kind of wheat bread) roti making and distribution vendor. We make packets of two whole rotis and considerable amount of potato gravy per feed. With proper standards of hygiene and quality check we prepare and pack the food in silver foil bags. 

What is the quantity of the menu and how much it cost ?
We make a potato gravy of 35 kgs + 15 kgs of onion + masalas and over 1000 plus rotis (Chapatis). The estimate cost of this process goes to Rs. 15,000 /- per plus approximately per Saturday drive. In future we are looking to add on green peas and potato in the gravy menu. 

What is the future plans regarding this free food distribution drive?
Anjor Foundation's Anjor Patra looks forward to start various distribution points in Pune City currently to cater maximum feeds. Plus looks upon to increase the frequency at least 2 times feed per day. Looking positively and with optimistic attitude we are trying to cater our financial requirement by internal fund raising programs. OFCOURSE ! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT.
